The Inaugural USA Rugby League 9’s Tournament hosted by the Fight

It will be held on Saturday May 28, and Sunday May 29 at the Fight’s home field, A.A. Garthwaite Stadium, located at 11th Avenue and Harry Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428, USA.The tournament has been changed in an effort to promo...te rugby league more and that means 9's to distinguish ourselves from rugby union 7's.
The NZ Police will be touring the USA with NRL Rugby League legend Ruben Wiki and former NZ Warrior and Melbourne Storm player Wairangi Koopu. Their coach is New Zealand 7's legend Matua Parkinson. The NZ police are talking with other Police teams from Australia and England to see if they can join in the tournament.
All Nine of the newly formed USARL Rugby League teams have already confirmed and we would especially like to see more of the teams in the Midwest and Western USA be able to make it. Also confirming are the New Zealand Defense team, British Police Rugby League team, several squads from Manchester England and we hope that possibly our recent competition foes in the Atlantic Cup, Canada and Jamaica.
The entry fee for the event will be $350.00 US per team. From that fee we will use half of the total towards the grand prizes for 1st (70%) and 2nd place (30%). The other half will be used towards our event charity sponsor.
We have three local hotels to stay at ranging from $89-139. (Residence Inn by Marriott, Radisson Hotel and Doubletree Suites)
