Helping At-Risk Children Across all Sectors of Society Through Diverse Partnerships

Obesity is a complex, multi-factorial problem. To solve childhood obesity within a generation, all stakeholders—schools, parents, corporations, government, communities, health care providers, and non-governmental organizations—must individually and collectively develop and implement new initiatives that provide children and families with the tools and information they need to create and maintain healthy habits for life.

The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation (HWCF) has assembled an impressive collection of private and public stakeholders that are committed to solving obesity. More than 300 organizations have partnered with the Foundation to confront this important problem. In addition to some of the world’s most iconic food and beverage companies, a diverse group of more than 250 not-for-profit groups are working with the HWCF to change the future.
