Paul Smucker Wagstaff

President, U.S. Retail Consumer Foods The J. M. Smucker Company

Paul Smucker Wagstaff is President, U.S. Retail Consumer Foods, of The J. M. Smucker Company, and the great-great-grandson of J. M. (Jerome) Smucker, founder of the company bearing his name.  

Paul graduated from The College of Wooster with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations, and received his Masters of International Management degree from Pepperdine University.  Prior to joining Smucker, Paul was a Securities Trade Analyst for Neumeier Investment Counsel.  He began his career with The J. M. Smucker Company in 1996, and has worked in various Marketing positions and served as Vice President of the Foodservice and Beverage Markets prior to his current position as President, U.S. Retail Consumer Foods.  

Paul also serves on the Advisory Council for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE); the Funders’ Committee for the Fund for our Economic Future (FFEF); The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation Board of Governors; and the Old Trail School Board of Trustees.

Paul lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife, Carrie, and their two children, Dan (16 years) and Merit (8 years).
